As we come into the Holiday Season with gift giving and celebrations, let us never get so caught up with the commercialism that we forget the real reason and meaning of Christmas. The greatest gift given to us is Jesus Christ. On behalf of myself, Pastor Evans, and my wife, Lady Karen Evans, we wish each of your families a very blessed and safe Christmas and Holiday Season.

Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
In today,s society we are always trying to do more to get more instead of waiting on the Lord to provide. We run ourselves into the ground by not following God’s timing. We have to step back from the microwave mentality and trust His plan.
Be Blessed,
Pastor Evans

As we rest and celebrate this Labor Day weekend, let us remember to rest so we can be our best for the Lord.
Galatians 6:9-10 says “ And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap , if we faint not.- 10 ) As we have therefore opportunity , let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are household of faith. Enjoy your day and Be Blessed

Resting to restore your effectiveness is vitality important to your well being as a Christian. During your rest and relaxation period, find patience and peace from the everyday bustle of life. Slow down and reflect on the blessings of God. Rejuvenate to better serve the King. Be Blessed, Pastor Evans

As we celebrate and reflect on Memorial Day , let's pay homage to those brave men and women who have gave their lives for our safety. Let us always remember the greatest sacrifice that was given for us by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who paid the ultimate price by giving his life for us.

Sometimes we should talk with God without asking for anything. Have a conversation with Him to better understand Him and what His will is for your life. Thank Him for who He is. Moses talked with Him on a regular basis not seeking anything—let’s do the same.

As we reflect on this country’s independence and the great sacrifice that many men and women have made, let us remember that nothing overshadows the greatest sacrifice for independence that was ever given was by Jesus Christ. He gave us independence from sin.

As we transition into another season and our children return to school to further their education, which is very important, let us not forget the importance of teaching them about God and His Kingdom. Teach them to study His Word, prayer time and Sunday School. Hosea 4:6 says that “my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge”. Proverbs 22:6 says ”Train up a child in the way he should go. And when he is old, he will not depart from it.“ Let’s educate our children academically and spiritually. Continue to pray for their safety and all that come in contact with them.

As we celebrate Black History Month, let’s remember our forefathers sacrifices and the growth we can now achieve. But let us never forget the sacrifices that Jesus made when he carried that cross up the hill. He was determined to fulfill his destiny so that we have freedom from sin, just as our forefathers fought for our freedoms.
