Your Labor Is Not In Vain

As we celebrate  this Labor Day as a day of rest and relaxation, let us remember what is said in  Galatians  6:9, “And let us  not be weary in well doing, for  in  due season we shall reap if we faint not”.  When we work for God, we receive many blessings- some seen and some not seen.   Always remember that your labor is not in vain.  Be Blessed, Pastor Evans

As we prepare to celebrate Independence Day, we should remember to celebrate daily our Independence from sin.  Our Lord and Savior hung, bled and died for our sins so as we celebrate the so called freedom in America, let us take a moment to remember what Jesus Christ gave us. Be Blessed Pastor Clarence O. Evans

Happy Father’s Day

As we celebrate Father’s Day, let us remember to celebrate two things:

1. Let us celebrate the Mothers who had a dual role as they step in as a father and

2. Let us remember to celebrate our Heavenly Father who loves us, heals us,  and provides for us . As we say thank you to our earthly fathers, take a minute to say thank you to our Heavenly Father.

Be Blessed

 Pastor Evans

Happy Memorial Day! As we honor those brave men and women that gave the sacrifice for our safety and freedom, let us remember the greatest sacrifice of all times, and that is when Jesus hung, bled and died on the cross for our safety, salvation and our freedom from sin. Be Blessed Pastor Evans

Jesus Is The Reason For The Season

As we come into the Holiday Season with gift giving and celebrations, let us never get so caught up with the commercialism that  we forget the real reason and meaning of Christmas.  The greatest gift given to us is Jesus Christ.  On behalf of myself, Pastor Evans, and my wife, Lady Karen Evans, we wish each of your families a very blessed and safe Christmas and Holiday Season.

Patience

Patience

Patience

Isaiah 40:31  “But they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

In today,s society we are always trying to do more to get more instead of waiting on the Lord to provide.  We run ourselves  into the ground by not following God’s timing.  We have to step back from the microwave mentality and trust His plan.

Be Blessed,

Pastor Evans

Don’t Be Weary In Well Doing

As we rest and celebrate this Labor Day weekend, let us remember to rest so we can be our best for the Lord.

Galatians 6:9-10 says  “ And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap , if we faint not.- 10 ) As  we have  therefore opportunity , let us do good unto all men,  especially unto them who are household of faith. Enjoy your day and Be Blessed

Resting

The Importance of Resting

Resting to restore your effectiveness is vitality important to your well being as a Christian.  During your rest and relaxation period, find patience and peace from the everyday bustle of life.  Slow down and reflect on the blessings of God. Rejuvenate to better serve the King.  Be Blessed, Pastor Evans

Happy Memorial Day

Memorial Day

As we celebrate and reflect on Memorial Day , let's pay homage to those brave men and women who have gave their lives for our safety.  Let us always remember the greatest sacrifice that was given for us by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who paid the ultimate price by giving his life for us.

Oh Give Thanks

Oh Give Thanks!

Sometimes we should talk with God without asking for anything. Have a conversation with Him to better understand Him and what His will is for your life. Thank Him for who He is.  Moses talked with Him on a regular basis not seeking anything—let’s do the same.

Independence

Independence

As we reflect on this country’s independence and the great sacrifice that many men and women have made, let us remember that nothing overshadows the greatest sacrifice for independence that was ever given  was by Jesus Christ.  He gave us independence from sin.

Back to School

As we transition into another season and our children return to school to further their education, which is very important, let us not forget the importance of teaching them about God and His Kingdom. Teach them to study His Word, prayer time and Sunday School.  Hosea 4:6 says that “my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge”.  Proverbs 22:6 says ”Train up a child in the way he should go. And when he is old, he will  not depart from it.“ Let’s educate our children academically and spiritually.  Continue to pray for their safety and all that come in contact with them.
